Brief Description of Announcement, Charges, and Availability IBM PCradio (TM), a hand-held rugged unit, extends host services to the mobile work force via a variety of communication alternatives in a DOS-based unit. All models provide: o A 5-10 MHz 80C186 processor with power management system o Integrated Circuit (IC) memory card slot o CGA liquid crystal display o QWERTY keyboard featuring imbedded numeric keypad o 2400 bps internal modem o RJ11 telephone jack o Battery charger o Serial and parallel (via a optional breakout box feature) ports for attaching external devices. PRODUCT POSITIONING PCradio is approximately 10.5 x 8.4 x 2.5-inches, weighs approximately five-to-six pounds, depending upon configuration, and is designed to take advantage of wireless communications and networks.
