The IBM Thinkpad 760C and L was an elegant, slim model within the 760-series, which could only incorporate a floppy disk drive.

There was a standard 'C' version, following on, and really the final machine with the C for Colour model name and the L for.....economy? For Lower? Not sure, but it has a simpler graphics and sound setup.
